SUPPORT STAFF — We are seeking full-time support staff at our northern Michigan campus (mid-May through mid-August).
The summer support staff positions will have responsibilities in one or more of 3 areas :
housekeeping
maintenance
kitchen/food service
Support staff will work in varied work environments and be trained to use appropriate personal protection and tools for the task at hand. A key part of support services is providing assistance to our programs through quality hospitality and service. The work week is a 40-hour week.
Qualifications
Must be responsible, trustworthy, teachable, organized and have an attention to detail.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and work standing, bending, walking, reaching for 8 hour shifts.
Must work adequately under time pressures and constraints.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Preferably support service staff would have some skills in housekeeping or light maintenance. However, neither are requirements.
